Like the majority of states, Pennsylvania workers’ compensation attorneys are paid on a contingency fee basis. An attorney who successfully helps an injured worker obtain benefits receives a percentage of the workers’ comp settlement or award. If benefits are not recovered, there is no payment of any fees to the workers’ compensation attorney.
